About 4-H Curriculum

Curriculum refers to all the planned educational experiences that a youth would be involved in within an area of study or "project".

Florida 4-H Projects

County Extension Offices provide a variety of 4-H projects to support 4-H programs. Types of materials available to support programs include:

These are the youth manuals or workbooks that direct youth through a subject matter topic at their own pace.

Recordkeeping of project work may be done in a separate companion booklet to the Project Book or incorporated into the Project Book itself.
Volunteer Project Leader/Helper Guides
These companion materials to the Individual Member "Project Books" are developed to support the youth, individually or in groups, with their project learning experiences.

These project materials are developed to support the youth through groupproject learning experiences. The project is designed with multiple lesson plans for club or classroom learning experiences. Youth do not complete a specific "project book" on thier own. There are supporting generic 4-H recordkeeping tools that youth in these group projects may complete for individual recognition.
