Florida 4-H Photo and Poster Contests

The annual state 4-H photo and poster contests provide opportunities for hundreds of youth across Florida to express their creativity and talent.

Share the Fun

This program is designed to help 4-H'ers discover, develop, and share their talents. The objective of the program is to enhance appreciation of talent, leadership, confidence, interest in training, and the ability to discover wholesome recreation. The state contest takes place at Florida 4-H Congress in July at the University of Florida.

Tropicana Public Speaking Contest

This program is designed to give 4-H'ers experience in preparation and delivery of a 4-H related speech. The contest requires youth to recognize, organize, and present information on a 4-H related topic. Youth must acquire the ability to speak in public, express ideas effectively, and show poise and confidence while giving a timed speech. The state contest takes place at Florida 4-H Congress in July at the University of Florida.

Florida 4-H Filmmaking Project

This project has been divided into eight activity sessions. Each session introduces you to specific camera and film topics using a series of videos and fact sheets.

Florida 4-H State Marine & Aquatic Photography Contest

This state competition supports the 4-H marine education program and is held in conjunction with the State Marine Ecology Event. This contest is open to all 4-H members, regardless of age. Cloverbuds may enter but their photos are not judged. Rules, guidelines, and entry forms are on the 4-H website.
