WINGS Project
In the 4-H WINGS projects, you will learn:
- about ecological systems;
- about biological principles of living organisms; and
- skills such as decision-making, getting along with others, self-responsibility, planning and organizing, and improving your knowledge of general science and technology.
Project Materials (For Youth Ages 11-13)
This project will guide youth through the
four stages of a butterfly’s development.
Through various hands on activities youth will
learn about the butterfly eggs, caterpillars,
chrysalis, and ultimately adult butterflies, while becoming citizen scientists.
