2011-2012 Youth Service Project

Youth Against Poverty

The Florida 4-H State Council is proud to announce the launching of our new State Service Project – “Youth Against Poverty”.  This project is a call to action for 4-H members to engage in service projects that will help out with poverty in their community, country, and/or our world.  4-H members will have the opportunity to participate in this project while attending Florida 4-H State Events, as well as by carrying out projects locally in their clubs, counties, and districts.

Below you will find resources assembled by the Florida 4-H State Project Committee to help you and your fellow 4-H members get involved in this exciting initiative, and carryout your own service projects. The State Project guide below also contains sample project ideas, and a report back system, so you can share your work with others across the state!

On Wednesday, August 1st, 2012, we invite you to join 4-H members across the state and country, in a 4-H Day of Service by holding your own service project! Please see the flyers/resources below to find out more how to take part in this portion of the Youth Against Poverty” initiative.
